Preston Murdock started playing the guitar at age 15.  Joining his father's band CYMBALIC ENCOUNTERS at 16, Preston performed LIVE in Tokyo.  Recording on their second CD 'Exploration of the Southern Constellation' along with noted artists from Brand X, Percy Jones and John Goodsall, also featuring Hiroyuki Namba, Japan's top keyboardist.

Preston entered ESP Music Academy in 2016 and won two years consecutively in ESP Music Academy guitar contests, claiming 1st Prize in the 2017 Grand Prix! He has performed the top Tokyo club circuits and concert venues to an audience over 3000.  He currently performs with his band SIGNAL.  He attended an intensive course at M.I. in Hollywood in 2017 and will attend the NAMM Show 2018 as an endorser for EVENTIDE and  supporting artist to JJ Guitars.
